What is self storage?
Self storage is a service offered to householders and businesses that need to store items in a secure, individual storage space.
Who is Store All?
Store All is the only self storage facility in Barbados offering both indoor and drive-up self storage. It is 100% Barbadian owned and operated.
What kind of security is there at Store All?
Both our indoor and drive-up storage areas have a keypad into which you have to enter your personal security code to be allowed access. We also have a surveillance camera system, a monitored security system and smoke detectors. Our drive-up units are fully enclosed by perimeter security fencing, lit with halogen lights at night and are very secure. They also have metal security lock covers.
What is the difference between indoor units and drive-up units?
Indoor units are inside of our warehouse and drive-up units are in the enclosed area at the side and back of our warehouse. Some customers like the indoor units because the corridors are protected from the elements, and some like the drive-up units because they can drive right up to them and load or unload their car or truck.
Do you offer car storage?
Yes, we do in the enclosed area at the back of our warehouse.
What is the minimum rental period?
One month is the minimum rental period.
Are there any additional fees?
VAT is included in our prices. The only additional fee is a security deposit which is equivalent to one month’s rental. It is fully refundable when you move out and leave your unit in the state that you received it.
Are there any discounts?
Yes, there are discounts that increase for pre-payment of three months, six months and one year of storage. We have also just introduced a discount for students.
Do I need a padlock?
Yes, you can provide your own padlock or purchase a new one at our office. Only you have the key to your lock.
Do you offer insurance?
We offer insurance of your items for a nominal fee. We insure your items through United Insurance. Sometimes your insurance company will extend your home insurance coverage to our facility, but you must check with them first. We are currently working with our insurance company to come up with insurance coverage that we can offer to our clients.
Do I have to sign a rental agreement?
Yes, and you will also need to provide us with valid identification e.g. a Barbados identification card, a driver’s license or a passport.
How long can I reserve a storage unit for before signing the rental agreement?
We will hold a storage unit for you for 24 hours before you sign the rental agreement.
How quickly can I move in?
You can move in on the same day that you sign your rental agreement. We will pro-rate the rental for the balance of the month.
How do I get my items to you?
We do not currently offer a moving service, but we will happily recommend someone to move your items.
Do I need to give notice when I move out?
Yes, you must let us know that you are moving out. The rent is not pro-rated when you move out so if you move out before the end a month you must pay for the entire month.
How can I pay?
You can pay by cash, cheque or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
Do you sell packing supplies?
Yes, we have a wide variety of boxes, plastic containers, poster tubes, bubble wrap, packing paper, heavy duty tape, stretch wrap, mattress bags, sofa covers, packing kits, storage bags and packing noodles. You do not need to be a storage customer to buy supplies. Please feel free to return any unused boxes for a full refund.
Do you have a pallet jack?
Yes, it is just inside of the door in the warehouse and you are welcome to use it to move your items.
When can I access my storage unit?
The indoor units are accessible from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm everyday and the drive-up units are accessible 24 hour access everyday.
What are the office hours?
Our office hours are from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Can I move to another unit if I need more/less space?
Yes, depending on availability. We will simply adjust your rental agreement and invoice you accordingly.
